My Sweet friend Andrea over at The Cottage Market Sent these Beautiful Pumpkins to me…
As well as these DELIGHTFULLY smelling Vanilla Beans…
The Pumpkin Tutorial you can find Here
And
The Vanilla Bean Sugar Tutorial that she shared
Here…
The Moment I saw the Tutorial I knew I wanted to try it...
I began pouring my sugar into the bowl..
I did 2 1/2 cups sugar to one Vanilla bean
I then sliced the Pod down the center… In order to expose the beans…
NOW tell me… Don’t you just wish you could SMELL this…
There is Nothing like the smell of FRESH vanilla
Then using the Back/Dull side of the knife I scraped the Vanilla Beans out
I scraped the Beans into my sugar and used a Fork to work it through and get it Evenly distributed…
I could have used my Food Processor… But I just wanted to sit and continue to SMELL this Heavenly Aroma…
It was actually quite RELAXING!!
I poured my VANILLA BEAN sugar into this glass canister…
And
then of course there is the PACKAGING!!!
I slipped a sheer pink organza fabric over it…
I then tied it off with a Pink Satin ribbon around the neck of the jar…
I topped it off with a Light Pink Flower Clip/Pin…
I cut a piece of Ivory Pearl heavy card stock
paper and Pinked the edges
This would make for a VERY LOVELY hostess gift….
And…
A most DELIGHTFUL Bridal Gift…
Don’t you think so…??
I DO…
